Writers Wanted: Sabah Travel Blog

Job Description:

Your responsibilities:

Write from a local perspective in the third person. This generally includes tips and useful information on upcoming events, how-to tutorials, vendor and product reviews, interviews, reports on national or global issues relevant to the topic along with local resources, and other topic-related articles.

This is a great opportunity to create an impressive online portfolio and even earn extra cash while you’re working to promote local economy. You will work from home as independent contractors and set your own pace as far as when and how often they publish. Because the level of readership and earnings success is influenced by publishing frequency, those who publish at least 3 – 5 times a week tend to build a larger and more engaged audience.

You are paid monthly through PayPal based on posting frequency and internet variables including page views, subscriptions, session length, and advertiser interest. Besides earning pay for performance, You will often receive invitations to attend special events and requests to review products or services. It’s not a “quit your day job” opportunity, but will increase chances for more freelance writing gigs–including book and magazine deals.
